Above is a link which out lines the new changes to the Building Act and what that means to both the consumer and the Licensed Building Practitioner.

Although these came into force in January 2015 reports coming back from council show many Licensed Building Practitioners are still not providing the required information to their prospective clients who in some cases are unaware of these changes and what they are actually entitled to receive from their builder.

We encourage you to take the time to read the above link and understand what these changes mean to them the consumer and what relevant information to make sure they receive when engaging a Licensed Building Practitioner to undertake building works for them.
